The CASBAA Convention 2017 is coming next month, and the trade body is promising delegates a 72-hour masterclass on pay-TV and digital video, as well as essential insights on the impact of digital video on the industry as we know it.

The full implications of the digital video revolution are at the top of the conference agenda, including solutions to the potentially devastating impact of digital piracy, the ongoing opportunities presented by local, regional and global OTT platforms and the challenges arising from the mountains of detailed digital data now being assessed by broadcasters, carriers, technology vendors and advertisers alike.

The line-up for the three-day event – to be held this year at Studio City in Macau from November 6-8 – has been designed “to capture the urgent issues facing our industry at a time of the most dynamic market changes seen in more than 20 years”, said CASBAA CEO Christopher Slaughter.
