Fujitsu and Telkom Indonesia sign MoU for IoT development

Fujitsu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with incumbent telco Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) under which they will form a two-year strategic partnership to develop digital businesses in Indonesia that leverage IoT technologies.

Based on the MoU, the two companies will move forward to apply technologies such as IoT to various fields, including smart cities, healthcare, manufacturing and logistics.

Joint initiatives under the partnership will start from market research, planning and review of digital solutions that utilize the companies’ respective strengths.

Based on the MoU, Fujitsu and PT Fujitsu Indonesia will work together with Telkom on initiatives such as verification of technical specifications, systems, and service performance related to advanced technology and solutions, such as IoT; assessment of business and service models, including market research; concept verification; and service co-creation based on research and review.
