HGC Global Communications Limited (HGC) announced a collaboration with unified communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) provider Blueface to launch UC Anywhere, a service delivering integrated, feature-rich and flexible cloud-based UC solutions for corporations of all sizes.

Corporations are opting for digital transformation to make their business processes more efficient in support of growth. A cost-effective and ever-evolving communication tool connecting internal and external parties has therefore become essential to day-to-day operations, HGC says.

Under the partnership, HGC’s local network and international network infrastructure has been integrated with Blueface’s global UC cloud platform. The resulting UC solution enables businesses to be reached regardless of their location via a designated office number through any means of communication.

UC Anywhere comprises a full suite of comprehensive service features – including simultaneous ring (SIM-ring), voice mail-to-email, call pull, intelligent call routing, call flow management and video/audio conferencing – on a single platform.

UC Anywhere is also able to accommodate a corporation’s future expansion, thanks to the scalable and flexible platform design, without the need to make any hefty capex investment. HGC says these points compare favorably with the limited functionality offered by a PBX system.

“The collaboration with Blueface enriches our business portfolio and proposition locally and internationally,” said HGC chief Andrew Kwok.

Dennis Wong, director of corporate and enterprise markets, added that HGC can also integrate its UC solutions with various applications to meet business needs via its API integration capability.”

Alan Foy, Group CEO of Blueface and Star2Star, said the collaboration with HGC “facilitates Blueface’s business deployment and expansion in Asia. ”
