Mavenir talks network transformation and mobile-native UCaaS

Guillaume Le Mener, GM of enterprise solutions at Mavenir

Network transformation continues to be a hot topic in the mobile sector, whether you’re talking about the RAN, the core or everything in between. That brings us quickly to Mavenir, which knows a little something about transformation, having been through several in its corporate history.

The current incarnation of Mavenir has technically existed for just over a year, but its technical expertise dates back several decades, and in a relatively short time it has fast established itself as an expert in network transformation with a different view of how telecoms networks in the digital era should be designed, deployed and operated.

Disruptive.Asia’s managing editor Tony Poulos caught up with Guillaume Le Mener, GM of enterprise solutions at Mavenir, at Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona to talk about Mavenir’s current value proposition – namely, helping operators leverage webscale internet technologies to transform not only their networks but their economics as well.

Le Mener also talks about Mavenir’s latest solution to help cellcos chase after the enterprise space – a new mobile-native UCaaS solution for SOHOs and SMBs that puts mobile technologies like VoLTE and RCS to good use in an enterprise setting. Bottom line: cellcos don’t need wireline infrastructure to serve enterprise customers.
