Why operators need to be G-agnostic and transport agnostic

G-agnostic

In this interview, Kundan Das, director of business development for APJC at Parallel Wireless explains why operators need a variety of solutions to support their subscriber needs and that is why architectures should be G-agnostic, transport agnostic – whatever is needed for a particular use case, operators should have the flexibility from their vendors to deploy.

The undeniable momentum towards network function virtualization and software defined networking has already changed the landscape of network operator and supplier businesses. The rise of commercial-off-the-shelf hardware for all network functions including radio access network is a trend that gained significant steam this year.

Das also outlines what business value his company’s products, partnerships, and new technologies bring and what differentiates Parallel Wireless’ offerings from other companies with similar products or services.
