Tata Communications announced that it has collaborated with Oracle to offer enterprises from more than 150 countries dedicated and private access to Oracle Cloud with the goal of helping them innovate via new services and business models and drive their digital transformation on a global scale.

The collaboration enables enterprises worldwide to be able to access the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure via the FastConnect service using Tata Communications’ IZO Private Connect. That combination allows enterprises to bypass the public Internet altogether and provide employees with more reliable, seamless access to data and applications using their WAN. With 10 Gbps connectivity, IZO Private Connect ensures a predictable and consistent end-user experience for bandwidth-intensive applications regardless of location or device, while helping to safeguard businesses against external threats, said James Parker, chief revenue officer at Tata Communications.

“As organizations become increasingly dependent on the cloud and the threat of cyber-attacks continues to grow, our customers need a network that gives them ubiquitous, secure access to data and applications,” said Parker.

“Customers require seamless connectivity from their data centers and networks to Oracle Cloud for their most demanding workloads and applications,” said Don Johnson, senior VP of product development for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. “With the FastConnect service, customers can provision the dedicated and private connections they need today and easily scale with their growing business demands.”
